I made this blend for a friend for an evening of relaxation along with healing for her dry skin, eczema and allergies. Sedative action makes this a great product to use at night in the bath.

Directions: Soak in nice warm bath water using 1~2 tbls. of salts. Suggestion ~ Close shower curtain or door and soak up the steam.

Containing the pure essential oils of Ravintsara, Spike Lavender, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus globulus, Peppermint, and Inula graveolens, my Cold & Flu Steam Blend A offers soothing relief to the symptoms of cold, flu, sinus infection and bronchitis. Good for headache relief associated with sinus congestion. Also helps to prevent sinus infections.
Aroma: Camphoraceous, minty, fresh, herbaceous
Directions: Boil plain water without the oil blend; pour boiling water into bowl, add approx. 5 drops of oil to bowl of hot water. With towel, cover and place head over bowl breathing in through nostrils and mouth to get steam into both head and chest for 5 minutes or longer. Can also be used in warm bath water adding 2~3 drops to water. Also can be rubbed into neck area when diluted with carrier oil. Caution ~ Be careful when working with boiling water.

Mastic ~ Butter Balm (Pain and Inflammation Relief)

The essential oil of Balsam Capaiba is anti-inflammatory. For all types of pain and to cool inflammation. Topical anti-inflammatory agent for all types of skin disorders. Quiets the mind. Numbs pain. Assists in fighting germs and infections.
The essential oil of Lavender has an outstanding sedative and healing effect on the nervous system. The alcohols and esters offer a soothing and anti-spasmodic effect that can assist tight muscles, digestive problems, spasmodic coughs, menstrual cramps, and tension headaches.
The essential oil of Lemongrass is outstanding for healing fungus. Lemongrass is considered a powerful oil for the healing of injury to muscle, tendon, ligament, and bone. Cooling and lovely to use with hot and inflamed situations.
The essential oil of Mastic is known for its pain relieving qualities and is used in blends for decongesting the lymph veins. Also a good anti-spasmodic. Sedative.
Palm Kernel Oil is an amazing butter. The aroma alone is rich, nutty, and unique. This luscious butter is from Western Africa. It is a striking blue and chocolate-brown color, with a beautiful, fruity, rich aroma. The texture is thick, grainy and buttery. It offers many wonderful benefits for our skin. We like to melt it with other butters like Shea and Cocoa butter (and Tamanu oil) for a rich and healing body butter.
Kombo butter is anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, and antiseptic. It is used with essential oils for aching joints and muscles and for dry or irritated skin conditions. Kombo butter is high in Myristoleic acid. Myristoleic acid is used to treat pain in the muscles and joints for arthritis and gout.
Aroma: Balsamic, earthy, exotic & sensual. Resinous and sweet.
Directions: Rub into affected area as needed.
