TCA (Trichloroacetic Acid) Peel

Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) has been a familiar peeling agent in the medical spa since the early 1980s. TCA peels are really the gold standard of peels, meaning that all of the other types of peels that are done are compared with the results of TCA peels.

Solar-damaged skin types are great candidates for TCA peeling. These candidates often have more lines, a sallow, gray color, and a pebbly appearance on the surface of the skin. These candidates have usually had overexposure to sunlight, making them an appropriate choice for an aggressive preparation and a TCA peel to treat these problems. TCA will resolve most of the fine lines, improve the color, and help smooth the pebbly texture. Depending on the depth of the problem (epidermal versus dermal), the result will be significant.

The cost of the TCA Peel is $200. This includes the mini pre-peel and the mini post-peel visit.
